Mango Dragon Studio
Mango Dragon Studio is an independent audio studio working across music and audiovisual projects. We provide mixing, mastering, sound design, post-production and music production services, as well as specialized services around cassette tapes and audio processing. We work with artists, labels and other creative projects to deliver professional, well-prepared audio adapted to its intended format and distribution.
Mixing
We provide mixing services focused on creating a clear, balanced and coherent sound from individual tracks.Each project is approached according to its style, material and desired aesthetic, ranging from subtle and transparent processing to more experimental and heavily processed sounds. We also create dub-style mixes using effect sends, feedback, delays, filters and other techniques to produce evolving and highly dynamic versions of the original material. Our custom-built hardware, including filters, saturation circuits and other analog processing tools developed in-house, can further add a distinct character and texture to the final mix.
Mastering
The final stage of the process, focused on achieving a balanced, consistent and polished sound while preserving the character of the original mix. Each master is adapted to the intended format and distribution platform, taking into account the specific requirements of streaming services, digital releases and physical formats. We also provide mastering for audiovisual projects, following the relevant technical standards for film, television, radio and other broadcast formats. From individual tracks to full albums and larger productions, we can adapt the mastering process to the specific needs of each project. We are specialised in genres like dubstep, bass music, dub, rap, hip-hop beats, uk garage, ambient, experimental music, and many other styles.
Sound Design
From subtle sonic details to complete audio identities, we create sound for advertisements, animated logos, films, podcasts, radio and other media. This can include creating original sounds, textures, atmospheres, effects and sonic identities tailored to each project. We also work on audio branding and sound elements such as transitions, intros, outros and other forms of audio dressing. From subtle and natural sounds to more distinctive and experimental approaches, we develop sound elements that complement the identity and purpose of each project.
POST PRODUCTION
We handle the audio side of films, series, documentaries, advertisements and other audiovisual content, from editing and cleanup to the final mix. This includes dialogue editing, audio cleanup, noise reduction, sound editing and mixing, as well as the preparation of audio for final delivery. Our post-production services can be adapted to the technical requirements and workflow of each project.
Batch Processing
For large collections of audio files, we can automate processing using the same chain or set of parameters across the entire batch. This can include normalizing levels, adjusting gain, applying EQ matching to harmonize frequency response, or applying a consistent overall sonic character through the use of the same saturation, compression, or processing chain. Our goal is to save time and ensure sonic consistency across multiple files, without the need to process each sample individually.
Tape Cassette
For projects involving cassette tapes, we offer cassette-specific mastering, duplication and printing services for personal and creative releases. We also offer cassette digitization for archival purposes, allowing existing tapes to be transferred to digital formats for preservation, restoration or further processing. Our mastering process takes into account the particular characteristics of the cassette format, helping recordings translate naturally to tape while maintaining their intended sound.
